I am delighted that I was wrong: I praise the New Middle East, middle eastern way

After the fall of Ben Ali's regime in Tunisia last month... I was sure that nothing will change in the Middle East and on the contrary the rest of the dictators in the region will use more coercive measures to subdue their people...

When the Egyptians revolted against Mubarak... I announced that the security of Israel was far more important than the aspirations of the Egyptians and that the International Community will support Mubarak's regime...

I was so wrong...

And I am happy that I was so wrong...

I was reading the events from old dated binoculars...

I was reading the events from the old set of mind...

Things have changed in the Middle East...

The people of Tunisia and Egypt have set the new rules of the game...

Even if no other dictator steps down soon...all of them are worried...

All the dictators of the Middle East are wondering what they have to do to avoid humiliation...

If this is the new Middle East that they were preaching to us, so then I am proud to be living it and part of it...
