Bashar and Credibility

Once I asked a friend: “Do you believe everything I say?”

And I got this very profound answer: “Yes I do believe everything you say”…

That is what is called credibility…That is when someone is credible…

Now, how do we apply this to Syria?

Ask any Lebanese: “Do you believe what comes out of the mouth of the Syrian politicians…especially from the mouth of the three stooges, Bashar Assad, Walid Mouallem and Faruk Sharaa?”

And you will get a strong and confident: “Absolutely not”

Yes, the Syrian regime has a credibility problem…

Whatever Bashar says you have to translate to the opposite…

Bashar and his gang are liars…

So Mr D’Alema, don’t be very positive about your visit to Syria…

Before you many others went to visit Bashar thinking that they might change something but all they heard was lies… about Lebanon, Iraq and the Peace Process…

And Mr Olmert, you and others in Israel are being fooled by Bashar's proposal for peace...

But go on and start your talks...there is an arabic proverb "Batikh ye kaser ba3do"...
