Arabs in Shock

Arabs were in a coma for such a long time...

Once they have started their awakening...they had to handle too much information... at once...

Dictators were toppled...

Dictators were brought to court in hospital bed...

Dictators are being challenged every day...

Add to all this the Israeli component...

Israel has been our best enemy for such a long time, that we think we want it out of the neighborhood,
but we know we can not live without it...

Israel lived in our neighborhood, but played football with the Europeans...

Israel was breathing the same air but was singing with the Europeans...

Israel was the Israeli government, the Israeli settlements, the israeli wars...

But Israel was never the Israeli people for the Arabs...

We talked about Israel as if there were no people in Israel...

can you imagine the reaction of some Arabs when you tell them "what is the fault of an Israeli who was born in Israel in 1975 for example"? His parents lived there and he was born there, should we blame him for "stealing" the land of the Palestinians? He had no choice but to love the country he was born and lived in.

Can you imagine the reaction of some Arabs when you tell them that the Netanyahu-Lieberman led government is similar to a Hezbollah led government?

So, imagine when the Arabs are seeing 200,000 or 300,000 Israelis in the streets calling for social justice and economic solutions.

These Israelis are using some of the chants used by the Arab revolutionaries...

They are gathering by the means of social media, such as the Arab revolutionaries ...

Suddenly, Arabs are under shock...they can not handle one more drastic change in perception...not of their politicians but of the Israelis...

Ironically, while they are parting away from the dictatorships and old corrupt regimes...

They are finding common factors with an Israeli public that was never shown to them...

That is why the Arab media is confused about the protests in Israel...

They don't know how to handle it...They don't know how much they need to show...

So, they are focusing on the Arab revolution...keeping the Israeli protest and certainly the protesters aside...

Too much of a shock might be harmful...

can you imagine the reaction of some Israelis when you tell them: "what is the fault of a German or European who was born way after WWII to be constantly driven to feel guilty for the Holocost? It just happened that he was born there, he is not responsible for his ancestors crimes. why do you keep blackmailing them and the world for it? how can the victims become the offender?
Can you please answer that since you seem to know better about the Israelis than the rest of us.

ggI definitely dont know the Israelis more than the rest since we arabs are not allowed to interact with them. But I sometimes, like to ask hard questions even to myself.

can you please ask yourself one more question: why the Israelis refused to recognize the Armenian Genocide until their latest fall out with Turkey?
and would you remove the quotation marks from "steal" because the Israelis DID steal the land and the properties from the Palestinians - your fellow arab citizens!
